Apparently, the amount of flat glass waste produced by the UK each year adds up to an incredible 500,000 tonnes. These days “Waste Management,” (or re-cycling), is a big concern to many – including those in the window replacement/ double glazing business. The re-cycling industry is worth well over a billion pounds because it engulfs almost seven million window panes a year, generating over sixty thousand skips of waste.
